“Cougars know Adversity does not define us; it strengthens us.”
The Cougar Collective was established in response to the landmark Supreme Court decision in 2021 that required the NCAA to permit student-athletes to benefit from their name, image, and likeness (NIL). Seeing the potential impact on WSU athletics, a group of alumni, business leaders, and die-hard Coug supporters came together to form a sustainable NIL program tailored to the unique spirit of Washington State University.
Since our inception, we have facilitated numerous NIL deals across various sports, including football, basketball, baseball, volleyball, soccer, and more. The Cougar Collective has enabled WSU athletes to engage in community service projects, partner with local and national brands, and build personal brands that extend far beyond their time at WSU.
